There’s always a lot going on over the holidays, even if a lot of it involves sitting and eating it’s still nice to get a chance to recuperate after all the excitement of seeing friends and family so here’s a little checklist for a lazy day in.
Get anything urgent done first so you can enjoy the rest of your day – As much as it’s meant to be a lazy day the best way to relax is knowing that there isn’t anything else you should be doing, so bite the bullet and get it over and done with.
Pj’s all day – Or comfy-wear, as long as you can relax and lounge all day!
Takeaway – I love cooking but sometimes you just want something easy delivered to your door.
Netflix – Or whatever your preferred streaming site is, you can switch off your brain for a bit and catch up on the shows you’ve got behind on or a movie you’ve been meaning to watch. Not sure what to watch? Check out ‘Shows You Have To Binge Watch‘.
Have a nap – I am particularly partial to a cat-nap but especially after a busy few days it’s nice to have a catch up on some sleep, just make sure you put an alarm on if you don’t want to lose the whole day!
Pamper yourself – Here are some super simple ways to pamper yourself on a lazy day:
- Paint your nails
- Have a bubble bath
- Use a face mask
- Light some nice smelling candles
Go through/catch up on your to-do’s – Depending on how you view a to-do list this could be a task or a ‘fun’ thing but it’s an easy thing to do while you’re watching TV.
Online shopping – Treat yourself, why leave the house when you can do it all online? (every once in a while).
Listen to your fave playlist – If you get bored of TV put some music on, listen to your favourite throwbacks or make a new relaxing playlist.
Enjoy your lazy day of relaxing!
