Homemade Pico de Gallo

It’s a super easy mix to add to lots of meals, I love Mexican food and I’m really keen to keep trying new recipes.

I use this on top of salads, fajitas and burritos but you can add it to whatever you want, I find it adds a nice texture and flavour.

The great thing with this recipe as well is that if you have leftovers you can blend it into a salsa dip (adding more tomatoes).

The Recipe:



  • 1/2 Red Onion
  • 7 Baby Plum Tomatoes
  • 1/4 Cucumber
  • Coriander
  • Lemon Juice
  • Jalapeños (optional)


  1. Chop all of your ingredients up into small pieces and mix together.

  2. Pour lemon juice on top to help it last longer and for flavour.
  3. For some spice add chopped jalapeños (when I’m making it for a group with different tastes I tend to leave the jalapeños out).
