Well we’re a week in and it already feels like it’s finally getting into the proper summer months now!
I genuinely can’t believe how quickly the last couple of months have flow by! I have been looking forward to the summer for so long and now it is nearly here!!!
Well May seems to have disappeared from right in front of me, what on earth was I doing for those 31 days?
So, I kicked off this month by going to the cinema and see Avengers: End Game! I am a huge fan of the MCU so this was a big deal. Loved the film but was crying my eyes out from the opening scene (I am such a sap). The film was clearly an end to one chapter of the MCU but I am so looking forward to seeing Spider-Man: Far From Home in the summer!
This month I also went home for a wedding! It was a beautiful day and a huge congratulations to Johnny and Sarah. As well as going out for the wedding it was also a lovely excuse to see my mum and sister back home even if it was only for a couple of days.
New blog layout! So not only have I switched my blog over from wordpress.com to .org but it has also had a complete re-design! I have already mentioned this in a previous post but I would like to give a shout out to Sarah at bloglovr.com for creating this amazing design for me and also to Jonas from NannyPress who put up with me through all my really silly technical questions when transferring my blog onto the new site. Let me know what you think of the new design and make sure to check out bloglovr.com if you’re looking to redesign your site!
Things You Might Have Missed:
During the process of updating my blog I know there were a couple of times when things weren’t working quite as hoped, so please go back and have a look over the last month’s posts or here are a few highlights you might have missed in all the excitement!
So, this month a big thing for me is that I will be finishing my work placement! This means my summer break is really starting and I will have loads more time to blog before going back for my final year at university! I have a bit of events work lined up over the summer anyway but I am so looking forward to enjoying some more free time and being able to do some more of the things I love!
- I have some more delicious recipes on the way! I realise my foodie posts have been mostly savoury recently so I’m going to try and get some more sweet treats out!
- While some uni’s have finished their exams for the year there are still some poor souls (including my sister) doing their A-Levels so I’m going to try and get some more revision motivation tips out!
- Like I said, now that we’re coming into summer season keep an eye out for some holiday and events-related posts! I am getting my Events Management degree and have been lucky enough to have a fair bit of experience on events so I thought I might give you a bit of insight into what it’s really like working at a festival!
I hope you’re all having a great month so far and keep an eye out for more posts coming your way soon!
